2013 College Football National Cup (World Cup Format)
64 Teams. 16 Groups. 1 Champion.  WHAT: - World Cup Format Tournament - 64 teams placed in 16 groups - 2 of the 4 teams in each group qualify for knockout stage - Each team plays each other one time - 32 teams in a single elimination knockout stage ROSTERS: - Whichever named rosters I first get my hands on - I will be adding roughly 60-70 create a players - I have been doing this since CAP was first introduced into NCAA games - Almost every team has a create-a-player, but the ratings are still balanced - Was going to do this for fun, per usual, but figured it'd be cool to post HOW: - NCAA Football 2014 - I play a friend, with equal skill, in each game - We play on Heisman settings with adjusted sliders - Five minute quarters with natural weather - Play games in order of their groups - Injuries on (if player blows out knee - obviously will remove him for remaining games) Last edited by BuckeyeBoy315; 07-08-2013 at 08:49 PM. |

 Teams were ranked 1-64 based on their team ratings and hen placed in individual pots. I decided to balance it like the World Cup, where some of the lesser teams in the world qualify, I would add some more of the mid-level and lower-level teams in Pot 3 and Pot 4. I then randomly selected names out of the pots. Starting from Group A through Group P, I assigned each team from Pot 1 to their respected group. I repeated this process for Pot 2, Pot 3 and Pot 4 until all of the groups were filled up. Last edited by BuckeyeBoy315; 07-08-2013 at 11:56 AM. |
