Another year, another sense of hope. NCAA 14 looks great, plays quite well and could be a slight improvement to NCAA 13's DB Glitch ridden theme. With that said, it doesn't come without some gameplay concerns on default.

My sliders are sticking to the base that I have always done - which is an attempt to be "zero-based" (starting from zero and moving up) or some against the norm settings.

Try them out if you'd like, I always try to make my game enjoyable for me first - I'm not serving the community or anything like that. I've been on OS longer than most and I just want others to see what my findings are and maybe match up to what they're looking for, thus enjoying another year of NCAA.

Findings: Wanted to give CPU more time, less sacks - but also make ratings between DL/OL more realistic. INT needed to be moved up to 20 from 0 to compensate for all the attempts on intercepting the ball - but not doing so. Dropped Tack to 80 as well to allow more open play through the running game and breakaways, not to mention less vicious hits.

Thanks guys. I'm seeing some fun play and surprisingly some broken tackles despite Tak being @ 100. My aim with that is to see what is the preference of the DBs when the ball is in the air. If they go for a tackle preference, they will not try to aggressively cut up the route so quickly.

I think there is a bit more than what meets the eye though. Also, unfortunately, the Aggressive Zone for the CPU team still activates - but has not created a drastic form of the DB glitch; but we all know that Aggressive Zone adjustment is the main component of the formula that produces the DB glitch. Play NCAA 12 and you will see what I mean, that is how the DBs seem to be playing the Aggressive Zone adjustment now - so still playable - but you will get one of those dumb plays once in a while.

Much testing still needed. Wife and I just had our first son on Wednesday night - so I'll try my best to sneak in some testing in between naps

Not going too much into detailed stats right now cause im on my phone.

One thing that i can see being a problem is,the lack of ints, waay too many dropped ones.

Fumbles seem to just continue being a legacy issue.

So far though, these are a blast!
