What the heck I never knew about this..

That's awesome!

However.. it makes me wonder how little playcalling on offense matters anymore now that you can just call any play and within 10 seconds audible to another and change the route of every player to whatever you want without the risk of player confusion, not being able to hear audibles, etc. that teams would face in real life if they tried the same.

Play as the road team. Your guys will sometimes not hear changes when the crowd is too loud.

playing as oregon in the demo it was diffcult to change plays in routes early on before i moved the ball

If your WR is 1 on 1 with a DB and he's giving a lot of cushion, you can hot route the to a smoke screen. Im sure you've seen in College and the NFL those quick passes to the outside to get him the ball quickly.
