Game Freezing

When I start up the game it freezes on the "loading custom shoe data" screen every time. I don't even have any custom shoes created!

How do I fix this?

to fix this problem, what you have to do is when you goto the press start screen, DONT press the start button, let the game load into demo mode and have it play out the first quarter then you can press a button to take it back to the press start screen then you can continue on.
