How do I get my PG to have realistic assists?

I'm currently playing Year 1 of my Clippers Association. I play about 10-15 games per season and the entire playoffs + Finals if I'm lucky enough to make it. At any rate Chris Paul is only averaging 7.1 APG which seems a little low.

Anything I can do in order to get him to play like he does IRL?

At Pro Setting you should be able to run P&R all game long and average at least 15 assists per game. The cheezy was for you to acquire them is just drive to the rim and dish it to a big man when he's under the basket. The CPU has no way of defending this. Or you could learn their playbook and give shooters the ball in good positions to make shots

If you're playing with 2K rosters, those suck and don't give a SIM experience. You should check out some of the community rosters.
