#1 Issue that needs to work for you this year in Madden 25

What is the one thing that needs to work 100% for you this year in madden or its a no go?
Im already sad that assists will not record.

For me it is definitely AI. I want to see things such as constantly running on 1st and 2nd down removed and just have a smarter more adaptive CPU. I thought Madden 12 did a great job of differentiating teams and creating a challenging offline experience. However Madden 13 took 10 steps back in this regard.

AI when playing the CPU...Better game play management....Also better zone and general defensive AI...

I am going outside the box on this one, but I am going to say PRC.

Let's say you have two players, defensive ends, that are identical in height and weight and physical attributes, and they have identical power/finesse ratings and AWR. But one player is 90 PRC and the other is 80 PRC. The player with 90 PRC needs to be much more valuable, both in OVR rating and practicality.

The 90 PRC player should read pass/run much quicker and be less apt to fall for draws, screens, PA passes. He should be quicker into pass rush animations because he should "recognize" it's a pass much quicker than the 80 PRC guy.

Both players should recognize plays that are repeatedly run, but the higher PRC guy should be much quicker at it.

For offensive line players this should be tied into their AWR and see similar effects, OL players with high AWR should more quickly adjust to repeated blitz setups.

I doubt that it will work like that. EA has spread themselves too thin with the expanded ratings and added traits to that mess. I do not want to see them go backwards - removing footwork and STR rating for pass and run block - wish they had changed pass block str/run block str to hand technique and kept the footwork for both and let STR be STR - hand technique would equate to how well the use hands to keep defenders in front of them And fight off swim rip moves, footwork would be their angles for pass blocking kick steps and account for balance in both run/pass blocking interactions and STR would be used to determine which way players move, north or south while engaged and for blocking in bull rush scenarios.

Defense lags behind offense and it doubles over time because defenders have many more relevant traits and ratings - AWR only on offense, but defenders have AWR and PRC, OL has run pass and impact block, defensive line and LBs have traits for each move, power and finesse ratings, block shed and pursuit, tackle and hit power, am I forgetting any

OL has 4 relevant ratings where defenders on the DL have at least 10, never mind if you wanna run zone blitz scheme which you can't XP up DL zone ratings and so the balance is overwhelmingly in the offensive favor and that gap widens over franchise mode

cannot play down the screen with reversed controls, its unfair to defence
