NBA 2K13 commentary issue

For almost 3 weeks now I have had a problem with the commentary audio in 2K13. After a while of me playing MyCareer, an Association game, or a quick game, I notice that the commentary suddenly stops and disappears.

I tried to ignore this but then after a while, when a teammate is to inbound the ball, the scoreboard, my MyPlayer stat board all disappear.
On top of that the game gets stuck there and if I try to do Save and Exit Game mode but that freezes my PS3.

I deleted my Settings file but the problem still persists.

I had issues like this with NBA 2K12 but never figured it out. Eventually the disc stopped working.

Good luck figuring it out. I downloaded the game this year to avoid it, hopefully that doesn't hit you.

I actually have had this happen once I never fixed it but it only happens once in a long while.

I've encountered this problem on multiple occassions, like I was playing Online Team Up earlier. The commentary stop functioning around early 2nd quarter, then when it was the end of the game and then I press quit, it freezes. I hope there's a solution

has any one figured this out i have the same problem please help! i have completley restored the system deleted all my saved data for every game and nothing!

I had this exact same problem on my PS3. Turned out it wasn't 2k13 or the disc - it was my system. Eventually, my PS3 would stop playing the game at all and I had to replace the system.

Before that happened, I tried every solution to fix the problem you're having. Full system restore, deleting all game files, cleaning my disc lens.... everything. It was so frustrating.

Not sure if yours is the exact same issue but that's the way it started for me. Commentary would stop, then I couldn't inbound, call timeout, or anything, then the game would freeze. It was unfixable for me, even before my PS3 died.

Do you have the patches? The first patch fixed the scoreboard glitch.
