I haven't bought the NHL series since 11, but I remember hearing/seeing a few players like Gretzky being playable in 13. This sounds awesome to me, and would be a big selling point for 14 - does anyone know if they will be included?

Also, are they immediately obtainable for use in offline quick play mode, or do I have to rely on random booster packs?

I don't have any news but I think it would make a good discussion for what legends everyone would want.

I like for them to have all the legends from past games in there. Saw no reason why they needed to take away Legends in '13.

Also, more oldies. Howe, Bobby and Brett Hull. Or why not Bobby Orr.
Hockey did exist before the nineties after all

I'd love to see Paul Coffey on here, but could they at least add "Coffey" to the names they say...I was shocked when they wouldn't say my name. Its like Paul Coffey has been completely erased from history.

I loved that guy back in the days.

Speaking of names, they need to add a lot of names. There are, I believe, even names they say in-game that you can't pick when creating a player.
