edit players during franchise mode

can you edit players in franchise mode...I see it's possible outside of franchise mode but don't know if it's possible within this mode. thanks

I think it’s just Manage Players and hit X on the player then Edit.

Just checked to be exact:

Franchise Main Menu > Move the left stick over 3 times > Manage Roster > X the player > Edit Player

Don’t forget to hit start when you finish editing the player or it won’t save
