JUST missed out on the Triple Crown

Just finished my first season in my Brewers dynasty and Ryan Braun JUST missed out on the Triple Crown. He had a .344 AVG, 44 HR, and 116 RBI. David Wright had a few more RBI. Has anybody had a Triple Crown winner on their team? NL MVP and the Battle Tittle are nice, but dang it would've been nice to get the TC.

Re: JUST missed out on the Triple Crown

When i was playing a game the other day the commentator said Nelson Cruz was leading 2 of the 3 stats/categories for the triple crown. being new to baseball i had no idea what it was so had to do a search. He is a fair way behind the leader in avg , .280 something while Cabrera is around .400 .
Only the middle of may in my franchise so still a way to go.

On MLB 11 and 12 yeah

not that rewarding this yr though when you win it next season they will ignore that and say that player led in RBI's or something else only.

Re: JUST missed out on the Triple Crown

I was towards the top with Ike Davis last year, but dude hit a major funk in June, and his average dipped. April was unreal for him.

Re: JUST missed out on the Triple Crown

21 games into my Dodgers season (trying desperately to catch up with the real life schedule) and Adrian Gonzalez leads in two of the categories.

Hitting .378 with 4 HR's and 23 RBI's. Doubt he can make a run at the HR title but I think he's gonna be up there at the end in average and RBI's. Matt Kemp and Hanley Ramirez are ahead of him on the team with 6 and 5 HR's respectively. Bryce Harper and Justin Upton have a share of the HR lead with 7 each at the moment.

Re: JUST missed out on the Triple Crown

In 12, Jason Heyward on my Braves 'chise hit .340, 37 HR, 112 RBI, and I lost the HR category to McCutch who had 38......That was a huge disappointment!
