Just Curious... Question About Socks

Last year, they released a couple of Adidas uniform packs that updated the socks of A&M, Michigan, etc.

Why aren't Nike's socks in the game? Is there any particular reason? Just curious.

It is a great question and I think Elites should be in the game...heck even just a swoosh on the socks so they look like a sock and not just white or black lines lines on players legs.

It'd be cool if they had the team colored Nike Elite football socks (the ones with the triangles on the back) in the game.

It baffles me that they don't have them. Maybe they don't have Nike's permission or something.

because they only update maybe 1 or 2 things about equipment/player models each year. Took forever to get color on the cleats and those cleats haven't been updated since then, still don't have eye black or mouthpieces that we had on last gen, still have awful looking facemasks and helmets (mainly due to the awful heads), no leggings, took forever to get dreads and when they did they made them the long predator dreads and have not touched them since and many other things you see on Saturday's that are missing.

This year they added "base layers" which seems to be a fancy way of saying new undershirts, and they added the gloves that show the logo when guys put their hands together.

And to the people who will jump in this thread and make stupid jokes about how dumb it is that people are talking about socks (because they will come in here)... why are you in this thread? It's clearly labeled so if accessories aren't something you care about then you shouldn't be in here because saying you don't care adds nothing to the discussion.

I really hope they go above and beyond to get equipment and player models right on next next gen versions of the game.... If they continue the franchise...... For some reason socks and cleats are important to me and they completely jacked it up..... So I hope they get it right....

Serious question. I don't know much about how video games work in regards to programming/ coding etc. If they can add uniforms via DLC with correct colored socks, why cant they add cleats? or even equipment items like more facemasks we all have been asking for. It seems like it would be easy? All I can think of is they know they wouldn't sell equipment patches if roster editors like myself paid for it, and shared it to thousands. It just seems like if they wanted to they could add those things. Does anyone know if they could do this?
