Anyone else have this weird mindset?

Okay, so I've had every major baseball game since Triple Play 2001 (which I still have)

I have never completed a single season. Even utilizing Play 1, Sim 5.

I start a franchise that I think will be fun. I play around 1-5 games, then either get bored, or find a concept that I think is even cooler than the one I've got, so I start over.

I love the gameplay in this year's game. But I really want to finish a season. I want to build up a team, maybe win a world series. But since I cannot make it past April, it's kinda hard. So, does anyone else have this problem? I just find it really weird.

Re: Anyone else have this weird mindset?

I start over a lot. Why? No idea other than maybe I'm a bit OCD.

I finally finished a season last year, so I thought I was over starting over. But I've started over 4-5 times already. The last time because the Marlins swept the Nats and that really annoyed me.

The Nats swept the Marlins in my current one though, so I think I'm good now.

Re: Anyone else have this weird mindset?

Funny I should run across this thread now, I'm booting up the PS3 to start another fantasy draft right now because I don't draft enough power hitters and my offense is rated 27th!

The other issue I have is difficulty. On veteran hitting I crush on all star I can't hit. Yet on pitching I have it at hall of fame. I think with fantasy I get bored of my team too fast.

Yeah, I've done a lot of fantasy drafts. I just get bored of them for some reason.

Re: Anyone else have this weird mindset?

I'm going on 4 years of having completed a season. I play every game, every pitch. What I do is build a team that's good but not great. I usually come in about 8-12 in overall rankings. I'll also stack a couple teams in each league by taking the good/great players off of crap teams. My next WS champion will be my first. I've made the series once and lost a heartbreaker to a loaded Boston team. It may be cheese or whatever, but I don't care cause I have a gas every year.
