NBA 2K13: Bailey's Challenge™

Bailey's Challenge

After playing 2K13 for months I can imagine the game is getting a little stale, so I decided to add some new life to it and created a "challenge mode".

The basic of this challenge is to create a player in MyCareer and win a title without ever upgrading him.

Below you will find the rules to this challenge and information.

[This is inspired by the nuzlocke challenge]

Core Rule set

Rule 1: Never upgrade your attributes.

Rule 2: Difficulty must be set to HOF.

Rule 3: Cannot purposely throw the Rookie Showcase game to get picked to a better team.

Rule 4: Cannot use items which give boost to attributes. (Such as +5 shoes/+3 Arm Sleeves)

Rule 5: Must play first 10 games of regular season before key gaming.

Optional Rules:

No Signature Skills.

No use of Scoring/3pt Specialist play-styles during character creation.

Base the player on person (real or fake)

Restrict certain signature skills (For example No sig skills that increase offensive or defensive ability)

Goals

Goal 1: Get a starting position.

Goal 2: Average 20+ Points, 10+ assist, 10+ rebound, 2+ steals 2+ blocks at end of regular season.

Goal 3: Average Teammate Grade of A or higher.

Goal 4: Make the all star team

Goal 5: Finish the season with a team record .500 or above.

Goal 6: Finish the season while leading the league in any statistic

Goal 7: Make an all NBA Team

Goal 8: Make the playoffs

Goal 9 Win MVP or finals MVP

Goal 10: Win a title

Bonus: Make it to the Hall of fame


To successfully beat the challenge you must achieve 5 out of these 10 Goals within a single season.

sounds pointless to do without increasing any stats, just put a cap on them for play types.

for #2 thats the most un realistic thing ive ever seen.

#1 3 5 6 7 8 9 10 all doable as a rookie, with no stat increses though..

#2 only have to do one of those stats

1 3 5 6 7 8 9 10. If its not doable whats the point.

what im saying is they are too easy to achieve, make em harder. like career points scored=xxxxx, blocks=xxxx like 2k has. ok i thought so on #2 but worded in a way i also thought you wanted godmode :P
