The Official 2013 Stanley Cup Playoffs Thread
The West is set:

1. Chicago vs. 8. Minnesota
2. Anaheim vs. 7. Detroit
3. Vancouver vs. 6. San Jose
4. St. Louis vs. 5. Los Angeles

And per Doc in the regular season thread re: the East:

Effect of OTT/BOS game tomorrow on East pairings:

1. If BOS wins in regulation: PIT/OTT, BOS/NYI, WSH/NYR, MTL/TOR
2. If BOS wins in OT or shootout: PIT/NYI, BOS/OTT, WSH/NYR, MTL/TOR
3. If OTT wins: PIT/NYI, MTL/OTT, WSH/NYR, BOS/TOR

This will be the first year I've actually followed the whole regular season and playoffs. Hopefully it is as awesome as last year.

The REAL season begins soon.

I can see the Red Wings making an early exit and the Wild giving Chicago a tough time. I don't necessarily think the Wild will get by Chicago but they'll leave the Hawks bruised up.

I'm hoping for a MTL/TOR series as that would be pretty fun to watch for the historical reasons as well as a chance to rekindle a rivalry that has been pretty dormant the last decade and a half.

If you've watched the Wild at all this season, you'd know that we won't be bruising anyone up.
