Saving games during Franchise

Hi-

I just started a Franchise Mode on MLB the Show 13. I'm currently a few games into spring training. I was playing a game a couple days ago and I had to leave to run some errands. I was in the 5th inning and when I exited it asked if I would like to save the game, which I did. I came back to pick up where I left off and it never brought me back to the existing game. Tried again yesterday and tried to pick up the game again(this time in the 6th inn.) with the same results. I know in previous editions of The Show I never had any problems with this. Am I doing something wrong? Thanks in advance for your reponses.

Save and Exit...
Then choose continue franchise and load the IN-GAME SAVE.

Re: Saving games during Franchise

After you save/exit from mid-game, it takes you back to the main franchise screen. At this point the game has already been saved though.

Did you then proceed to go save your franchise manually? If you did, and you saved over the mid-game save, you lost your progress, and would have to start that game anew.

Also, when you save, and it spits you back out at your franchise main menu, if you continue the game again from there, I believe you lose your progress also (someone correct me if I'm wrong). What I normally do when I have to turn off my PS3 is save it, and back all the way out of my franchise until I'm at the game's main menu (not the franchise's), and then power down.

All I do is Exit/Save game and when the Franchise screen appears, I power down.
Every power up and Franchise Continue has the IN-GAME SAVE ready for me to load.
