Help picking a new rebuild team

I'm looking for a team to rebuild. I'd like to make this a NL team. I was going to go with the Marlins but Stanton is huge on that team. I mean I could always dump him off for prospects. Besides the Marlins what other rebuild teams are there in the National league. I'm looking for a team with a nice stadium and no real stars.

I'm a Pirates fan and it would be hard rebuilding with that team /getting rid of McCutchen. When I mean rebuild I mean trading everybody of value. Padres are a weird team. Don't know much about the Rockies and I can't play with the Mets.

It depends on if you're looking for realism or just a team to rebuild for the sake of rebuilding? I'd go with maybe the Cubs or Phillies! Phillies you could trade Halladay, CLee, Rollins, Utley, etc for young prospects. Again though it really depends on if you are looking for the realism effect or not!

That's actually a really good idea. I like the Phillies idea a lot and love their ball park + uniforms.

Re: Help picking a new rebuild team

My franchise is with the Astros, a team where their best player is rated 87ovr...I'm currently 8-20 at the start of May

...no real superstars, but a good mixture of young promising talent that I'm developing plus a few veterans that can chip in (Pena,Ankiel Bedard...)

Even though I'm losing a ton of games, I'm really having fun Scouting and Developing players for the future.

Maybe a team you can give a shot at...

I know you said NL. But the ultimate rebuild for me is the twins. Byron Buxton and Francisco Lindor. Who knows how they will actually turn out but you got 2 premiums at least for the future. The twins also have new stadium and are built on fundamentals. That should benefit some youngsters development.

I think you mean Miguel Sano, Lindor is a prospect for the Indians. MN has a ton of prospects which make them a pretty easy team to rebuild. I think the Indians, Marlins, and Brewers would be fun to rebuild. The brewers have some young talent and good veterans that you could trade a get a lot of prospects for.
