Who is your favorite player to build around?

Who is your favorite player to build around in association mode and/or why do you like to build around them?

My favorite player to build around is John Wall. I love using super athletic point guards and he is the purest super athletic point guard in the the game. I also like building around a player who has not become a superstar yet but will in the future.

When using a roster that doesn't suck, it'd be the Jazz core of Hayward, Favors, and Kanter. Those 3 compliment each other perfectly.

This year it has been Andre Drummond. It is fun to develope him. Kinda reminds me of how the Magic built around Dwight.

I'm having trouble deciding on a roster; which one would you recommend? I like building around Favors as well.

I just use my own roster, but Paul Pierce's and Perry Price's SimWorld roster is great.

I loved my Blazers association when I built around Lillard and Aldridge. Best association I've ever played, I led the Blazers to 2 titles. Lillard averaged 26 points and 9 assists one season.

Yeah me too, I edited haward to be a superstar and its a blast to play them!

I would like to build one around Demar Derozan...Improving his 3pt shot and perimeter defence could be the difference between him being an average player or All-Star calibre!.

If i had the time to play an association properly I'd keep Kyle Lowry,Rudy Gay,Amir Johnson & Jonas Valanciunas to become my starters putting development points into Derozan's 3pt shooting and perimeter defence also Valanciunas Low Post offence and defence maybe even using the untapped potential on Jonas!.

I'd eventually trade,waive or release Bargnani,Kleiza,Landry Fields,JL3,Aaron Gray,Pietrus and Alan Anderson for expirings and draft picks even if they were just 2nd rounders.

Generally speaking the Raptors need improving everywhere but the starting 5 is still young and it's decent as long as nobody goes down with long term injury's this is a core i could work with.
I'd keep Terrance Ross and Quincy Acy since they wouldn't be expensive to obtain and target some veterans to round out my roster!.

My list of possible targets!

- The Brewer's
Ronnie and Corey Brewer would be high on my list to be my lock-down defensive wings,both can play at the 2 or the 3 and can land in free agency for a reasonable price.

- Danny Green
Playing under Pops has made this kid a nobody to an important piece of the Spurs team...He can drain a corner 3 so just having him on the floor opens up the lane for a drive to the lane or keeps the defence honest if i have a Low Post threat.

- Samuel Dalembert
Never been a top tier Centre but good enough to start,getting older and would be a good mentor for Jonas. Dalembert would fill the lanes against most 2nd units still averages 1.7 blocks and seven rebounds per 22 minutes.

- Jose Calderon
Knows the system,Loves Toronto,can find an open man...lacks anything defensive tho could easily rack up the assists against most 2nd units,an underrated 3pt shooter and very reliable from the line.If Toronto could bring him back on a cheaper deal this could work.

- Cory Joseph
Young,Cheap and Canadian!..played under a star point guard in Tony Parker,I would give Joseph a chance to shine in his Home country as a 3rd string spot minute PG. Could also be a Jose replacement or trade asset

- Brandon Bass
Not sure what Boston plans to do with Bass long term and is not really an upgrade or a downgrade over Amir but i like his mid range jumper and i could use him for some scoring presence or a starter depending on match-ups.
