Re: Nascar Inside Line question
I am actually planning on getting very creative. I typed out a contract with my name and info and preferences and how much my contract was worth. As if I was signed. Now I do this to go above and beyond what the developers offer in the game since they slacked on the cars not working on all modes which is gay.
So this is what I am doing.
First I will start a career in the career mode, but with the old gen car which I consider nationwide cars now. Play nationwide structured laps and build from there. Get my feet wet with the contract requirements I set for myself and what gen 6 car i will drive. Therefore replacing a rookie driver who is active already of someone no one gives a **** about or about to retire.
After I beat the career on champion, I hope to clear the accomplishment of The king and move on to gen 6 full time.
Since you cannot use the new cars in the season mode. You would have to track the points manually which is a lot of work. But you will have more freedom to make decisions whether or not you deserve to kick your car out after a realistic hard wreck without continuing, track the points by estimation of the field positions or just keep going. Whatever floats your boat I say. As for practicing, use track testing to find your setup. Limit your time by one hour since that is the real allowed time. Only negative thing is the lack of other cars on the track making it a bit more difficult to see how the car reacts in the draft.
If you appreciate Nascar and aren't afraid to get creative, this is a way of doing it.
I always wanted to be in the development field. But my ideas wouldn't attract long term money. Only short term. Its too bad, but getting milked is the never ending trend these days.
