Most of my created players are push hitters

I must have created about 16 players to test this out.. I made them all right handed and pretty close to all of them had a higher hit percentage to right field. I'm not saying they were all considered Push by the game, most were Balanced but still had a slight bias to right field. The rest were push, and not one was pull. I did not test this out with left handed hitters.

Edit: I just created three different right handed road to the show players and they were all push hitters. I'm trying to get a pull RTTS hitter but no luck yet.

Russell said its all suppose to be random, but very few guys are getting players that are pull hitters. Next year I hope they let us choose what kind we want.

I also tried a dozen times or so and eventually just settled on balanced.

Who uses C-A-P's any longer?

Find a player with the tendency/potential you want and export import him.

How can you tell what kind of hitter he is after you create him? Simulate a season and look at the numbers or is there a graphic that shows you what kind of hitter he is after you create him?

In game hit the select button...it brings up his spray chart and tendency.

Does the push/pull tendency even matter if you're playing? Or is it mostly for setting your defense in MoM?

Glad that you mentioned this. I'm putting together a fictional roster right now, and I didn't even think about pull/push tendencies.

On a related note, how important are the hot/cold zones for batters? I'm using existing A rated prospects to create new players, but their hot/cold charts are terrible.
