In order to bring up and see the read and pitch man helpers you must hold Right trigger Pre-snap and hold right stick up. The markers will not appear while the play is in action and may only be brought up by Coach Cam.

Yea I think its a great tool for those who haven't really ran the option that much (or very well) in the past.

Only reason I like this is because when you run option against a 3-4 on heisman, see Alabama, the lineman would never be consistant on who it would pick up.

Finally, Depending on what your philosophy is, you can change up your dive or pitch key 5,000 different ways.

And sometimes the logical dive key would not switch between the end man of the line of scrimmage and the d-tackle. Which is fine, as long as they tell me who the hell I am suppose to be reading.

Hold up - are you saying that you can change the read key pre-snap? I haven't heard that.

And for that matter, are we just seeing the read key for the dive or also on the other options (midline, speed, 2 reads on triple option)?

Here's hoping the new system actually keys on the EMOLS rather than the playside DE. The blocking assignments always get even sloppier playing against 3-4 or 3-3-5 teams.

They didn't say YOU can change that. All Ben said IT would change depending on the particular option play being ran and what defense the defense is in. Depending on the play, the read is the DE, OLB or DT. That is what Ben said.
