Quick Injuries Question

Are the injuries constant in this game? E.g. If Player A gets a dislocated ankle, and is forced to retire, If player B gets a dislocated ankle will he be forced to retire? Or is what the durability stat does?

P.S. Is Torn MCL a career-threatening injury? I really hope not. My stud SS prospect tore his in his MLB debut.

Re: Quick Injuries Question

When a player has an injury that says 6+ months. Its pretty random if they will be forced to retire. At leats its been that way for me. Jarrod Dyson got hurt in one of my franchises and retired after the season. Half way through the off season my game froze so i had to go back to the playoffs. He didnt retire the second time around.

Re: Quick Injuries Question

I haven't gone through a full season yet to see how injuries are but an MCL(knee) can be a serious injury for a SS since it has to do with lateral stability of the knee.

But if the durability stats does come into play and he has a good one he could be fine.
