Crazy Off Season trades in My Player?

So I've completed my first season with the Rockets on MyPlayer. Won the championship. I'm a 6'4 SF. And oddly enough the GM did not ask me about any trades. The team by the end of the season was:

PG: Lin
SG: Harden
SF: Me
PF: Patterson
C: Asik

Now as soon as I started the new season. I'm seeing trades like CP3 to the Cavs, Igoudala to the Spurs. And Dwight Howard is now the starting center of our team. How? None of my teammates above got traded. Looking for answers from anyone who has played multiple seasons.

They weren't traded. They were free agents at the end of the first season so they could choose where they wanted to go(to teams with enough capspace).

Oh, that's right. It's still questionable that Paul would head to the Cavs when they have Kyrie Irving.

They were deffinetly signed as Free Agents.
CP3 to the cavs is quite normal in the 2k world, as unrealistic as it may seem.
I usually see Dwight sign back with the Magic, no logic in that at all.

Howard went to the Pistons & CP3 went to the Rockets in MyCareer.

Those moves are quite common in Association. I think they deal solely with who has the Cap Space. Although I've never seen Iggy to the Spurs, but I guess that's because I'm always using him myself.

On another note, the squad you have now is quite beastly with Dwight at Center.

You're right! While Asik was awesome with rebounds and putbacks, my team is now more explosive in the paint. Though, I wonder if this roster while stay this way after the year is over.
