2 got better in the latter levels, especially once I got past whole not getting chances to off people at great distances.

Thanks for posting this, I'll be picking it up for sure - I'm curious what changes they plan on making - ps4/xbpx720 could maybe get them to do huge distances? (draw distance etc)

In other sniping news I might grab sniper; ghost warrior 2 on saturday or monday.

I was checking out the impressions of Ghost Warrior on the Steam forums tonight, you might want to hold off on that, or at least check em' out yourself. Doesn't sound like a good game at all and seems to be full of bugs from what I've read. Even the positive impressions aren't that positive.

My prayers have been answered! LOL. 2 was one of my favorite games of the last year or so, and I can't wait for another one.

I agree - 2 gets a lot better later on. Wasn't there a special edition released recently with new levels as well? I could be wrong.

I also agree about holding off on Ghost Warrior 2 - excitedly bought it and was highly disappointed.

2 is fun, though I started over on medium level (not highest)...Highest sniping was fun, but got stuck in a stupid part where I was low on machine gun ammo and have 8 guys running at me...

Decided to go to medium and just have fun with it.

Looking forward to 3 though, I enjoy the sniping they have, it's just a fun game. Hopefully they add some cool stuff too.

Sniper Ghost Warrior was the dumbest and worse game I ever played in the past 15 years. How it got a sequel is beyond me.

The word (sandbox) was used which makes me think a couple of things - 1) probably longer sniping ranges which is DESPERATELY needed. 90% of kills in V2 were too close and you never got a chance to go big distances like you did in V1
2) maybe they are going the farcry2/3 route - if they do or even if they don't, they need HUGE draw distances.

Either way I'm excited again.
