Should I Purchase Immediately?

Hey so I bought a PS3 on Saturday, and I want to make a push to become a baseball fan this season (Orioles). My question is should I buy this game right now, or do MLB The Show games typically get a price drop soon?

I have PS Plus if that means anything.

I usually purchase Day 1 so never pay attention to price drops but I don't think it will drop any time soon and if it does it will be like $10.

A couple years ago I waited probably a month or so and picked one up on Amazon for like 35. Just depends on what you want to do.

It's a good idea to wait. OSFM rosters + possible price drop/sale + possible major patch, etc.

Only thing you'll be missing out on not buying now is, well, playing it now.

if your'e hurting for cash then wait. id pick it up now as it gives you time to practice and get used to the game before the os rosters come out. even if you wait i doubt itll drop more than 10-15$.

If you're a franchise player, this is probably the best course of action. I'm pretty much bored out of my mind waiting to start franchise mode. RTTS is a decent distraction, but it just doesn't pull me in the way franchise mode does.

Even with the stutter this is the best baseball game out. If you need a baseball fix get it. If you have a Vita get it for that and it will be cheaper and doesn't have the stutter. If just a Ps3 go get it now.. When there is no stutter it is the best sports game out in my opinion.

I don't want to single any game out (and trust me, there's a lot of em), but The Show could stutter 20 times in 9 innings and it would still be miles ahead of any other sports game currently on the market.
