Rated 99 Rookies

I'm in the 9th season of my RTTS career and I've noticed a worrying trend. there are alot of 99 rated rookies hitting the leagues every single season. These players are in their late 20's to early 30's and are all 99 rated rookies. Here's the top 4 in homers in the NL in May (there were 11 99 rated rookies total in top homers list).

Haha and that 1 guy is 5'8 158 pounds. Do u think anyone who weighs 158 could ever hit a ball out of a major league park even once?

Re: Rated 99 Rookies

Apparently a guy named Albie Pearson was 5'5, 141 and ha 28 career homers. Impressive.

Re: Rated 99 Rookies

Well, 165 isn't 158. And I'd imagine the power loss is exponential as it gets lower.

Re: Rated 99 Rookies

Hitting homeruns has more to do with the swing than the weight of the player. You have to consider bat speed, hip rotation, and other stuff like that.
