Hot zones

According to your experience how much the hot zones (especially mid-range and 3pt) affect shot success?
I mean, are better players with higher shooting ratings (i.e. 90s) but few hot-zones or players with lower shooting ratings (i.e. 80s) but more hot-zones?

How do you even check for these things for a player?

Re: Hot zones

I believe it's 4 attribute points up or down (hot or cold)

You can just go edit a player and put their inside, mid range or 3pt up to 94, 95, 96 and the yellow bar should fill up all the way if it's 99. That's one way to test it at least.

It gives you a nice little boost but typically if a guy can shoot well, he won't really have that many cold zones. A guy like Tyreke Evans or Rondo have a ton of cold zones. I find it's just nicer for 3pt shooters, guys that have like 76 or so, just to give you a little boost.
