Question about 30 team control franchise

I'm the kind of player who likes to keep the moves realistic. I've seen people talk about the 30 team control but how does that work exactly?

Do you have to control every teams injury and line up moves?
How do the trades work?
Are you responsible for all of the off season moves for every team?

During season, you can pretty much do what you please. I, too keep my rosters exact. You can control every team's starting lineups, pitching rotations, minor leagues, make any trade you please, etc.

You basically control everything, which is great if you want to keep up with the real life moves.

About the trades, you put in a trade offer to a team, then switch to that team you offered to do the trade, and accept.

I have a related question, never played The Show before.

I am going to play as the Mets, but I would like to use 30 team control for trades. I want the CPU to control their own teams and offer trades to each other but I want the final say on if its accepted or not. I heard this is possible yes? When I do that do I have to manually check for trades EVERY day I sim, or will I be notified by a pop up anytime a trade happens with any team?

yes every couple days, you need to go into the trade offers screen and check manually. It doesn't take long at all. but if you dont trades will still go through without your say so

at least thats how it was last year, i haven't experimented with it this year yet
