MLB 2K12 PC Version Not Working

So, today, when I got home, I decided to play some MLB 2K12 on my PC. When I started up the game it got to the loading screen after loading all of the settings and user profiles. I can no longer get past the screen of Verlander on the front. Is this because MLB 2K13 was released yesterday and that they want to force you to buy MLB 2K13 and not allow you to play MLB 2K12???

Use a program called Beyondo to temporarily change the date to somewhere during the baseball season in 2012, and then launch the game. You can easily revert back to the actual date/time when you quit the game.

Well, there is no PC version this year so I doubt that's the reason. However, I'm getting the same problem with my Steam version. And it's doing it whether I'm online or offline.

Anyone else?

D/l this program and use it to set your PC clock back to a date in the summer of 2012 when 2k12 was being played. Run it as administrator if you have windows7. Just leave it open on your desktop while you play then close it when your finished and your clock will go back to the correct time.

Interesting. I'm guessing it's MLB Today related and the game derps when it tries to load that part of the main menu screen. I'm guessing you guys who still play this regularly have been dealing with this for a while now?

I don't play the PC version, but I thought this was patched.

No PC was never patched, just xbox and ps3.

the beyondo program really works well for us PC users. My steam version just started doing this to me once the calendar turned to March so I had to resort to beyondo. But it does work and at least lets me play. Try it, trust me.
