MLB 2K13: The Franchise Mode Thread

Here we go again, boys.

This might not be the bohemeth this thread has been in year's past, but it should still be fun.

Tonight I am kicking off my Yankees Franchise [it feels good to finally be able to start a franchise the day i get a game, a rarity for me!].

I'll make no changes to the roster via trades, and I'll be adding all the real minor leaguers in the yankees minor league system [Thomas Neal, Shawn Kelley etc] to the 40 man that are available, except for one, which will go to a potential 5 star prospect.

Still haven't decided If i am going to do the 25 attribute thing [i am on ps3, so it would be done manually ].

Im getting ready to start a franchise with cleveland. Im trying to get some slider adjustments in first. I just edit 2 teams down to 25 anticipation , ill see if it makes a difference on 2k13 before i officially get underway. Good luck with the yanks , im sure you will have a better chance than me at making the post season lol

I've started 1-3 with the Braves so far in mine. Haven't made any moves. Lost 2-1, won 3-2 lost 4-2 and 4-2 again. Seems like the computer makes miraculous diving plays every time I make good contact...

Started with my new look Blue Jays and very Excited. I made a couple minor deals grabbing Brandon Inge (for my minor league club) and Russ Canzler to bat DH vs. Lefties for Lind.

Played the 1st game (54 game season) vs. Cleveland and won 5-2. Dickey went 4 innings (only play 6 so I play more games) allowing 1 run and 4 hits. Bautista had a Solo HR and 2 RBI, Lind smacked a 2-Run HR and Reyes had an RBI double in a great opening game.

Probably going to need some slider tweaks then. At least to INF and OF speed, just like last year.

What slider setting are you using?
