Developing signature skills

I know that in assosiation mode players do gain and lose signature skills but I was wondering if anyone knew how to tell what attributes players need to get the skills or how to go about developing my players to get the skills.

Re: Developing signature skills

I would also like to know the requirements for a player to develop a skill. Can a player like Jimmer Fredette eventually earn the signature skill "floor general" if I were to keep developing his offensive awareness and passing into the 90s?

After one or two seasons, Kawhi Leonard and Paul George got lockdown defender...I think it's just the way they went up... After checking, George has 82 on ball and Leonard has 80. I'm going to do some testing and simulating to see when exactly they got it.

Re: Developing signature skills

Okay so after simming one season, Leonard went up by one overall point to an 81 but he developed lockdown defender. Meanwhile, George went up by three to an 86 and still doesn't have it. Surprisingly, Jrue Holiday also developed it. After going into specifics, George's on ball defense is an 84, Leonard's is an 81, and Holiday's is an 84. But I also looked at Defensive awareness and Leonard's is an 85, George's is an 84, and Holiday's is an 86. My guess is that they factor both Defensive awareness and On ball defense for guards, and low post defense and d awareness for bigs. But I have yet to see a big man develop lockdown defender.

Re: Developing signature skills

Tab Gibson has lockdown defender but I don't see rhyme or reason for why.

Re: Developing signature skills

In my online association Ibaka added the lockdown defender after year one; as did Leonard and Holiday. I am not sure about the offensive sig skills. Could these additions be hardcoded for progression?
