Yankees franchise question?

For those of you doing Yankee chises, what will you be doing with pineda, granderson, and ARod? Will you be using them or putting them on the DL? I don't know what I am going to do. I want to utilize my resources, but I almost feel guilty.

DL for all of them. Probably Pineda coming back around June, Granderson out for less than 10 weeks with his wrist injury (less than 10 because it happened early in spring), A-Rod out until July at least.

It'll be interesting to see how the season goes without those guys.

I'll use granderson but rest him often, as far as pineda and a-rod they will be sitting until they actually come back in real life. I'll need to be able to get big contributions from brett gardner and hafner and youkolis this year to make the post-season. this should be interesting

Sorry if this is a bad question, but is there a way to manually put the guys on the DL? I would like to put them all on the DL (grandy 15 day) (Arod/Pineda 60 day) to start my season.

What I usually do is go with however it was in real life on release day, which would be march 5th. So A-Rod, Pineda, and Grandy will all start in single A until they come back in real life. But after that, I go on my own.
For example, if Teixeira gets injured on March 6th in real life, I won't do anything in the game. But if he gets injured in the game on March 20th, I will handle it as if it was real. Im not one to follow along with real life rosters/trades/callups i just go with my franchise like it is real life and like the real real life isn't happening.

Im going to keep Granderson in the lineup but remove Arod and Pineda from the 40 man roster.

Yes, you can. At least, you could in '12 and I'm pretty sure that hasn't changed.

For me, I'll manually injure Granderson, Rodriguez, Pineda, and Banuelos. Should be interesting.

Thanks. Yeah I did some research and saw you can do it from changing injuries from 'ON' to 'MANUAL' I would like to have random injuries but just have those 3 guys start the year on the DL. If I keep injuries on manual doesthat mean that I have to control every teams injuries or just the user team??
