Conference Realignment Ideas

I'm really deep into dynasty mode (20-30 seasons) and am looking for ways to keep it fresh. I remember seeing on here a while back some that had a system for conference realignment that included relegating bad teams to a lower "division". Tried searching but couldn't find it as this was a while ago.

Anyone have a good system for this to work?

Re: Conference Realignment Ideas

I went old school in one of my dynasties. I put everyone back in their original conferences. I put Miami in the BigEast, Nebraska, mizzou, A&M back to the BigXII and so on.

As a Nebraska fan, I can assure you that there's nothing "old school" about the Big XII.

Oh, and OP, I think there's a limit on how many times you can realign teams over the course of a dynasty. Pro-rel doesn't work because of that.

My thoughts exactly. If you wanted real "old school", you'd have to go back at least to 1995, remake the WAC so you could turn the MWC as the old SWC (impose probation on a yearly basis ) and turn the Big 12 back into the glory days of the Big 8.
