Next Gen 2k (what do you want)

Just wondering, since Sony announced PS4, when will we start getting info on what the next-gen system will offer us for Nba 2K, because honestly I have not been pleased since 2K11!! I hope they come with some solid gameplay and not cheese me to beat me, accesories should be home and away and be able to overlap, no more skating and morphing, association needs to be revamped, and for god sakes stop catering to the casual fan, give me hardcore basketball!!

Im hoping for solid play in the paint with no morphing or sliding. Maybe some kind of combine for incoming rookie class (Would like it more for a 2k Next Gen Football!!!). "Cleaner" gameplay (Sliding, crossovers and moves interrupted. change naturally).... Aaaand maybe they could try to incorporate wing spans and you can really tell the difference it makes (or not) for similar players (hidden type ratings). They took that first step with signature skills.

And for Association, a dynamic and better progression system. If a 59 overall 2gaurd goes off for 20 per gm, he shouldn't be limited to his potential. Also, make it so some players can become "lazy" after they get that big deal, with balance, so it can set Franchises back. And we shouldn't be able to trade everybody whenever we want. Also, player/ team relations. That would be cool.

After retiring from playing in My Career you can become a coach or an owner if you've earned enough money from your playing career

Realistic simulation gameplay period!!!!!!

It is a good thing to dream, but after seeing the PS4 press conference, what we are more likely to get:

- social aspects (MyTeam, Crew etc)
- maybe a "take your own photo and make your player with your own face" thing
- maybe more Kinect-type of things, like "create your own signature jumpshot" by recording yourself with a camera
- Kinect-type control option
- flashier menus
- sweat on players
- black and white socks
- hopefully a "best of the week/day" stuff if your friends play the game too: the game makes a highlight montage from their shared videos for you

TL;DR:
I doubt that the "more RAM and more computing power" of the PS4 will mean fundamental gameplay changes, only social and graphics updates.

eh...a better question would be is that do they even have the dev kits to actually start working on the next nba2k for PS4 or XBOX (whatever)?

I doubt we are going to see a huge leap...its going to be a couple of years before you see some huge changes...

OT: what I want to see? Well for one it would be nice to see differentiating players with longer arms...as of now everyone has the same arm length...
