OSFM 2013 - Miami Marlins

Hey everyone - since no one has volunteered to this point I have stepped forward to work on the Marlins - should be a fun roster to create with all the prospects they have aquired over the winter - a bit more challenging with figuring out who to put in and leave out.

If anyone wants to help me out with this roster let me know - I will be posting a spreadsheet soon with players and potentials followed by ratings down the road.

Feel free to post any ideas of players and ratings in this thread of anyone you want to see on this roster.

Willard

Here is the working spreadsheet for this year's roster

From what I have read I am tempted to make Marisnick a low A (he has the 5 tool potential, although may get rushed to the majors in Miami which might hurt his potential but I still feel he is an A), Realmuto and Cox I thought were closer to B's.

Would you be interested in giving me a hand with Ratings for the Marlins?

Re: OSFM 2013 - Miami Marlins

I appreciate the offer but I have too many other irons in the fire right now,
thanks again though, & I will post any info I have here.
(I rely heavily on Baseball America's Prospect Handbook, which is where
I derive potential)

I can see Cox & Realmuto being B potentials, I just always err on the low side
when I'm unsure lol

Back to prospects
More C potentials
Releif Pitcher Raudel Lazo (Double A) FB, 12-6 & Sweeping curve, Changeup

P Brian Flynn (Triple A) FB, Slider, Curve, Changeup

Relief Pitcher Grant Dayton (Double A) FB, Slider, Curve, Changeup

SS Danny Black (Double A)

Catcher/2B Austin Barnes (Single A)

CF Brent Keys (Single A)

I would love to help you guys with this roster. I will be using the Marlins as my franchise team this year (I'm a cards fan tho). Any work you guys might want me to do?

If you want to give me a hand with ratings that would be great - how are you at CAPs? I plan to use the same method for the CAPS as the Blue Jays where I basically copy over from last year and make adjustments but may need some help getting new guys done.

I want to have a spreadsheet ready an uploaded on here this week with the prelim roster and we can go from there

I'd be good at ratings. I'm using very good with them. I'm alright with CAPs, but I sometimes have a hard-time getting the face(s). If I can nail down the face, I can pretty much get everything else. You guys might have to help me with that. A spreadsheet would be a great idea.

Ok, I will get a spreadsheet together as soon as I can, I am almost done my end of the Blue Jays then will start the Marlins - kinda looking forward to doing them - I may use them in a secondary franchise once the rosters get completed - with the list dingleberryfinn put up we have a very good start. Once I get the spreadsheet together I will send you the edit version of the link and post the other version for people to suggest on here
