Icon5 Using MLB12 after March 5th.

Is there a way, because I haven't found one, to transport your franchise from the console to the Vita without using the Cloud? After March 5th, give or take, will the servers be disabled as usual making 12 untransferable?

Online servers.
Are they the same as the Cloud servers?

Re: Using MLB12 after March 5th.

Well, as you load your franchises to/from the servers, they're referred to as the "Cloud". Same thing and I already use those. However, in every past year, the servers have been disabled for use on or around the time the next game comes out although this is the first Vita release. I presume this will also happen this year as well.

So, to repeat the question, is there any other way other than using Cloud storage to switch franchises from the console to the Vita and vicey versy that I've missed that would facilitate not having this go immediately obsolete?

This is a good question.... I don't even own a Vita but I'm highly curious as to what the answer is.

Are patches still available after the server close-down date?

This is a good question, indeed. I will see what answers we can get regarding MLB 12 cloud saves, going forward.

To answer your question, patches are on SONY global servers, separate from the game servers. So basically patches are available years after a game's release.

Re: Using MLB12 after March 5th.

I PM'd Woodweaver about this a month or so ago and he said that you would be able to continue your MLB 12 franchise via cloud saves after MLB 13 is released.
