Anybody else hoping for custom playbook usage in online CCM for Madden 14?

I am, I for one run an online CCM and I think it would be really cool for every player to be able to develop and use his own custom playbook for use in my league.

Especially with the influx of new offenses in the NFL I think that it be cool to be able to create a full option based offense and use it in league play.

Anybody else agree? Disagree?

I agree, and also hope for Create A PLay as well!!!!!!!!

Yes I do agree;just dont see the devs doing nothig about it this late in the console cycle.Been this way since they implemented custom playbooks 2 yrs ago.In addition, custom playbooks are useful ,it's just you can't have custom audibles and the feature itself is not user friendly..

Create-A-Play would be cool but would have to be disabled for online play, or have a new online mode or setting for allowing or disallowing created plays.

I dont even want to imagine the cheese plays people would come up with.

me. Screw graphics or commentary improvements.. this game has to do some WAY more serious stuff than this..

for example improving gameplay and expanding carreer mode.. especially custom playbooks or changing the playbooks during the course of the year are some needed functions here..

Definitely agree with this one. It's my #1 complaint about the game. Every year I've made my own playbook, and I spent hours making them this year, only to realize I would never be able to use it. I was pretty pissed when I realized that, because none of the built in playbooks fit to my playing style.

Create-a-play (something available years ago in Madden, but not anymore for some reason) would be a cool addition. But it definitely shouldn't be allowed in online play. There are too many ways to mess with it to create plays that are unstoppable. But for me playing offline, hell yeah I'll take it.

I love on Madden 04 for PC you can make your own playbook, even make your own plays. You can even make your own formations. Just click and drag the players to where you want them on the field.

Its detailed too. You can assign each blocker an individual assignment, and for Receivers you can pick a route or even make a custom route. You can just click 'test play' and within seconds your on the practice field running the play.

Simply add it to your playbook and your all set.

Something similar would be great for Madden14 but you just know they will glorify it and call it a 'new feature' even though it was in one of their previous games.

One way they can regulate it in CC is to have formations and plays a part of the XP system this way people are limited and cannot get all the money plays into one book unless they put in a great deal of work for it.
