Custom Playbook Game Freeze

I recently created some plays in Play Designer, and then saved them to Custom Playbook 2. I have now twice recently tried to begin an open legacy game (with edited rosters - if that matters) using the custom playbook I created, but the game freezes at or just after tip off. Is there a solution/workaround for this?

I would just change/design the plays within an existing playbook.

did you load/ import the playbook prior to the start of the legacy.

Yeah, I did make sure to load the playbook prior to legacy. I also had the same thought of editing an existing playbook, although if someone has a better solution that would save some time, I'll take it. Thanks for the response.
