Question about online Co-op

I have been searching around the web and this site, but haven't found the definitive answer that I am looking for.

I was wondering what the online co-op play is in 2k13. The last NBA2k I have played is 2k11. I love the game but there is one thing that I have been wanting to be added to the game and that is the ability for me to play a season/tourney/association online on the same team as a friend. Is this available in 2k13? The online co-op for 2k11 was only through My Player and I do not want to play this mode. I am looking for online play that would be exactly like if we were to both play on the same console.

Any info on this is greatly appreciated!

Yeah, that or a tournament or even just a game on the same team.

I expected that they wouldn't have it, but wasn't sure. Thanks for the reply.

As far as co-op for a game, you can set up a private match with a buddy of yours and play a team-up game against the computer.

Thanks for the help and unfortunately I probably wont get the game since you cant play a season or tourney on the same team. I really hope they add this to the game in the future.

It would be cool and it seems like an easy addition, but just playing Blacktop online would be fun.
