Which Game Should I Get

Alright hockey fans i need help.. all this talk about NHL's lockout ending makes me wanna play some and i havent bought a hockey game since NHL 2002 (been a very long time). I used to love play NHL 99 on my N64 so i wanna jump back in on these games. I dont wanna spend 60 bucks on NHL 13 but which cheaper one is a good pick? NHL 09,10,11, or 12??

I'm not sure how much you're looking to spend, but I just picked up NHL 13 at Best Buy for $39.99 and it's great!

I agree with Savoie. Since it seems like you're a casual fan do not get hyped up with NHL 13. It truly isn't any different than 11 or 12 besides the skating, and quite frankly it still needs some tuning in order to improve the series. NHL 11 will give you a hockey fix and you can buy it for a very low price on amazon. Gamestop also sells it for 10 dollars.

11 and 12 (which are virtually indistinuishable to me) better reflect the sim aspect on the ice. However, to me, NHL 10 is the most fun game to play in the series (including 13).

Honestly, NHL 13 all the way. Either you buy the later games which every player is the same speed, only can score on one timers, and can score off every time off glitch goals....OR just get 13 and not worry about all this stuff. Yes this stuff still is in this game but not nearly if at all in this version as the later games.
