Bryan Colangelo Gone?

His contract expires with Raptors at end of the season, and after Leafs fired Brian Burke today, during the press conference, one of the people answering questions(from MLSE,the company that owns Raptors as well) didn't wanna talk about BC or the Raptors, but mentioned that he was in his last year of his contract.

Makes me think he won't be brought back(and maybe fired by the all star break at the latest? Since MLSE has fired 2 authority figures in 2 diff sports, in past 2 days)

Where do people think he'd be going next once he leaves Toronto? And who are some good names out there who could be good GM of Raptors?

Raptors will be a team that could spend 10-20M(depending on if they trade Bargnani) in this offseason(with all the cap space they have) and already have 12 guys(including Bargnani) signed through next season. So it's a team that very well could be drastically changed by next season.
Other than DeRozan,Lowry,JV,Davis,Ross. Wouldn't mind if rest of the team got traded and Raptors started new.

Why? Cause they're a top 15 team in attendance?12th most valuable franchise in the league?

They havent had much success since the Expansion.

No Superstar wants to play in Canada.

And the talent that gets drafted has yet to stay.

Vancouver got smart and is now alright in Memphis.

The experiment hasn't worked. Falling back on attendance records doesnt do it......IMO.

Re: Bryan Colangelo Gone?

So, despite the fact that they are a franchise that is actually making money, they should relocate because they've had bad management?

Vancouver got smart? In 5 of the first 8 seasons as the Memphis Grizzlies, they were TERRIBLE(under 30 wins)

And no superstar wants to play in Canada, or no superstar wants to play in a city that's not a big name in USA? Lebron didn't even wanna stay in Cleveland, Carmelo didn't wanna stay in Denver, Dwight didn't even wanna stay in Orlando,Paul didn't wanna stay in New Orleans. Instead, they went to Miami,New York and LA.

If Raptors had good management, VC would have never left(he didn't leave cause he didn't like Toronto. He left cause the management sucked and never listened to him), Raptors would have had good drafts, and even Bosh would have stayed too. Only a few times(Alonzo and Turk) are the only times I can remember where a player didn't wanna play for Raptors, cause of the city itself.

Toronto(Operating Income of 7.5M) is the franchise that needs to dissolve. The Raptors weren't one of the teams that wanted the lockout(hint, the Pacers were).

So yeah, in a bit of irony, your team is far worse for the NBA than the Raptors ever have been(surprisingly, you can win in Indiana, and the fans still don't care)
