NCAA 14: Commentary

Commentary in NCAA 13 is OK at BEST

what they NEED to do for NCAA 14 is REPLACE Brad Nessler with Brent Musburger

I mean look at Madden they got Simms and Nantz two commentators who ACTUALLY CALL GAMES TOGETHER..... and Madden's commentary actually IMPROVED its 10x better than it's ever been (Madden 05 was the best IMO)

If they have Brent Musburger and Herbstreit in the booth together .... I have no doubt that the commentary would improve by a lot

What do you guys think

Ive been saying this for @least 2 yrs now. Id also would love to see CBS presentation as well with vern lundquist, gary danielson and tracy wolfe for the SEC vs SEC matchups and the army/navy game.

Re: NCAA 14: Commentary

Personally, I believe they should have 3 or 4 sets of commentary presentations rotating out. (Thats a long shot, but 2 is okay).

Say for example, if you play a Prime-Time game, you would have a CBS Presentation (being that College Football takes up CBS's prime-time slot IF its a really big game.) That would be the highest honor being that it the game of the week.

Now say your team is playing hardly a regular game. Half the time, your playing on ESPN or your schools local/personal network. They can easily revamp the ESPN commentarters & for god sakes add Musburger.

Then there are simply those teams who arent playing on ESPN. Thats where the 3rd set of presentations come in. They could be simply a new random set of people or ESPN's lower division commentators.

All In all, heres the deal.

CBS/Fox for Prime-Time Game Of the Week
ESPN/ESPN2 for Regular/Prime-Time games
Local / EA network for Regular Games.

Re: NCAA 14: Commentary

I don't look for commentary to improve until PS4
is a couple years into it's life.

But then -BAM!
Look out, it should be as much of an improvement
as the difference in graphics on PS1 & PS3.

But, yes, till then give me Musburger.
Well at least we don't have to listen to Lundquist lol

Would be great but I bet espn prohibits it on the ea sports/espn license agreement

Re: NCAA 14: Commentary

If they can only do espn it'd be nice to at least have ESPN2, ESPNU, and ABC.

I'd like to see EA do the different network commentary teams like they did on NCAA Basketball 10. Have FOX's broadcast team, CBS, 2 or 3 different ESPN broadcast teams. I'd like to see Lee Corso added back into the game, not as a commentator but maybe he has an intro before the game talking about the matchup, his prediction, etc. All nothing that can't be done.
