The "BIG" Association - 30 Team Association

Hello OS Community, with all the ups and downs of the current NBA Season making it one of the most entertaining in recent memory, It has inspired me to play through this season as each user team and see how this season would've played out without all these daily upsets, with the Lakers playing how they should etc. and have decided to share it with this basketball passionate community. I have done one of these before after the 2009-10 season that can be seen here.

I've made a schedule of games to play throughout the season, while most will be simulated, I will play around 8 games each month of the season, when playing these I will play 1st and 4th quarters with the home team, 2nd and 3rd with the away team. I will post the results, stats etc. on here. These games have been divided through the different broadcasting stations, with 3 ESPN games, 3 TNT games and 2 miscellaneous games featuring teams that aren't featured on the two major stations such as the Wizards, Magic, Bobcats etc. a month.

RAN - Miscellaneous games.

Monthly eastern and western conference standings as well as league leaders will be posted aswell.

Settings

User Teams - 30
Games - 82

Player Roles - No

Injuries - Yes (Players with pre-existing injuries that have occured before the season for example Dirk Nowitzki, Andrew Bynum, Derrick Rose, are not included in rotations during their injured period.) Major injuries will be posted, minor injuries will not.
Playoffs - Conf. Quarters- Best of 3/Conf. Semis- Best of 3/Conf. Finals- Best of 3/NBA Finals- 1 Game

I'm hoping to play the first 2 or so games today if not tomorrow and post them on here to begin this season, hope you come along for the ride!

Re: The "BIG" Association - 30 Team Association

Pre-Season Predictions

MVP
LeBron James

With "the monkey off the back" and the known performance of LeBron James in 2K games it's almost too easy to put down King James as the most likely MVP of this season, able to do everything on the floor, he proves time and time again that he's the most dominant player in the game today.

Defensive Player of the Year
Serge Ibaka

Robbed of the award last year, Serge "Iblocka" is the games most fearsome PF on defense, swatting away anything that comes into his giant wingspan. Will fill up the block column quickly as the season goes by.

Sixth Man of the Year
Jamal Crawford

With Chauncey Billups as the starting SG, Jamal Crawford will dominate the secondary units of opposing teams as last years winner did, James Harden.

Most Improved Player
James Harden

With a new contract and a starting spot on a team in need of a scorer, Harden will shine and put up big numbers to help the Rockets win games, much like his bursts on the Oklahoma City Thunder.

Rookie of the Year
Michael Kidd-Gilchrist

MKG stunned a lot of people being picked 2nd the 2012 NBA Draft, with an outstanding amount of stamina and craftiness around the bucket, MKG is being given a huge opportunity to take this Bobcats team up a level or two tempo wise and standing wise.
