Online Association Free Agency glitch

When we reached the off-season free agency, we all got the players we wanted, but some of the stars were still there (Chris Paul, Dwight Howard, etc). Some of us were joking around and offered them minimum contracts for fun. The problem is, they accepted them. CP3 signed a 4 year contract at the minimum and Dwight signed a 1 year contract at the minimum.

It was like this last year too and it killed my love of OA. Has this happened to anyone else?

Yes. I did a test OA because I was worried I'd be freaked by the pace of free agency so I wanted to practice.

I signed igoudala and only had just a bit over league minimum left so I offered it to a starting sliver center (80 ovr) and he accepted it. Thought it seemed... Fishy

The pace isn't really that bad. What is bad is that we can sign any player we want for the minimum and for multiple years at that. That's straight ridiculous.

I can't believe they didn't patch that, that's hilarious. The same thing happened in 2K12. As a joke, I would low ball the sht out of players during the free agency period in the off season. You can offer free agents a 5 year contract for the absolute minimum salary and the guy would actually accept it all the time, depending on how much money your team has. My Minnesota Timberwolves last year in 2K12 had Kevin Durant, LeBron James, Carmelo Anthony, Amare Stoudemire, Kobe Bryant, Tyreke Evans, Blake Griffin, Kyrie Irving and a few other players. This was at a point where in this public online association, people stopped signing on and I had pretty much full control over everything.

If this still hasn't been patched then odds are, you can get lucky doing the same thing during the next off season. If you want a super team, you need to leave yourself at least 5 million dollars at the end of the season so that you could start low balling superstars to play for your team. You could even leave yourself about 1 million dollars to do it but if what you're saying is correct, you could still offer max contracts to superstars for the lowest amount of money possible and for some stupid reason, the players will accept. I tried this last year with numerous stars and if I offered contracts to 6 people, about 5 of them will accept it. Restricted Free Agents accept it but sometimes their team matches it. Be careful for that, you could actually do another team a favor by having a Restricted Free Agent sign a bad contract just to have their team match it. This is hilarious that they still haven't patched this yet, farming for VC has been done away with.

i submitted a request to 2ksuppport in late november regarding online associations offseason glitch where FA is skipped and 2nd season games are simmed by the cpu...

since i submitted the request i haven´t heard anything from 2ksupport. Only that my request had been send to 2nd tier support, whatever that means...

Chance of 2k fixing this glitch is almost non-existent i think... next gen is about to get 4th patch and current gen hasn´t recieved a patch so far...
