trading for 1st pick glitch

so in the offseason i had the 11th best chance at the 1st pick. and just for fun i looked to see if i could trade that pick for magic's pick (they had the worst record). just so happened that the magic's pick was a 1 star and they accepted my trade (no override). anyone by chance get this? (its on ps3 post-patch)

Yeah it's been that way for years. If you wait until AFTER the draft lottery it won't be an issue. Just don't make any trades involving draft picks during the time period between the conclusion of the NBA Finals and the draft lottery and you'll be fine.
