Quit playing the "too easy" CPU superstars with your tricks, that'd be a bore. Play WWE '13 against an unpredictable human friend of yours instead. One who's damn better than you at the game.

It's the same for me when I play SvR 07 (difficulty hasn't changed much). But I changed some sliders and found out these were the best for me:

Difficulty: Hard- This is the best setting without it becoming reversal fest and also the best for CPU vs CPU. Now I don't watch CPU matches but sometimes they appear such as in Elimination Chamber and you are still waiting in the cage or tag matches. These sliders should work well in CPU vs CPU matches.
Reversal Indicators: Off

AI Reversals:
Standing Strike: 15
Standing Grapple: 13
Ground Strike: 15
Ground Grapple: 13
Finisher Reversal: 20 (must be at max so you don't automatically feel like a finisher stored=win and humans get the stored finisher more often than CPU)
Foreign Attack Reversal: 20 (this is necessary in matches with lots of weapons-hardcore/tlc, etc) Even though at times it becomes unrealistic with the weapon reversals, in real life wrestlers tend to 'escape' from hits as oppose to reverse weapon attacks-however this is not possible in video game world.

Damage:
Finisher Strength: 8 (Want it to inflict damage but not always=victory especially if the match length is short)
Foreign Object Strength: 7 (In weapon heavy matches, don't want one shot=victory or inflict too much damage so 7 should be good)

General:
Standing Strike: 5
Standing Grapple: 3
Ground Strike: 5
Ground Grapple: 3
Finisher Reversal: 10
Foreign Object Reversal: 10
Momentum Rate Attacks: 8 (Not sure how fast the momentum charges up but set too low and CPU rarely can get a finisher) If it's too fast for CPU set it to 6.
Momentum Rate Taunts: 6 (Same as above, if momentum from taunts is too high set it to 4)
Adrenaline Rate: 6

Some matches give me squash matches but hey that happens in real WWE. I win about 60% of the time when before I'd win 90%+. Try them out and tell me how it goes.

Like the others have said.. quit using the little "tricks" and actually play the game like you should. Sprinting across the ring and diving every time at your opponent is what little kids do.

House rules. Need to make it work for you. I can only attempt a pin after a signature or finisher or 'big time' move of some sort. I also break submissions unless the guy actually finishes with that move.

And if that still doesn't work - turn your controller upside down.

Or, you know, go outside and try real wrestling.

Difficulty is fine for me.

I mean, sure, even the hardest difficulty is a bit on the easy side, but I play nearly exclusively Universe Mode, and I book matches with interesting scenarios and stipulations to make the game a bit less predictable.

The difficulty is nice that I can push guys that I want to push, by knowing I can get a win with them if I absolutely have to, but also difficult enough that if I slightly stack the deck, I know I can get a good challenge and even lose some matches, and get some unpredictability going.

I'm winning basically 95% of my matches on Regular (or Normal, whatever you call it). Do you think these sliders will be too challenging for me? I want some challenge but still fun. I do hate a lot of reversals.
