City Views

Why is it that ONLY the big name cities(like LA,Boston,New York,San Antonio) get real(or video game model) views of a city during something like a cutscene when returning from halftime, yet all these other cities dont?

A city like Philly gets that statue shown, New York with statue of liberty, San Antonio with the Alamo and so on.

If they're gonna have something like this in the game, why not have all cities instead of just showing how biased things are, by only having several teams have this in the game?

EA Sports for Madden, they have the aerial view of every single stadium(not real life view, but video game view). I'm sorta surprised 2K didn't have real(or video game) views of cities. Especially for the ones which also have MLB teams(since 2K has MLB2K as well).

Re: City Views

I also hate how the views aren't very smooth and it's almost like watching the view in slow motion.

I didn't get the memo when San Antonio was being considered a big city.

Re: City Views

This might be a good idea, but what would you show in my city for instance, Minneapolis doesn't have a lot of nationally known historical landmarks (or maybe they do and I just cant think of one ?)

the alternative is an overhead flyover of Target Center ? it looks pretty dull from above (both the arena and downtown Minneapolis)...

so I guess I vote for taking all of them out?

Re: City Views

Are you referring to the shots that display the city outside of the arenas? Because I have seen plenty of those. I play with the Charlotte Bobcats, and they even display "city shots" of Charlotte (Association Mode). If they show Charlotte, I'm sure that there are shots of every other city in the NBA.

Re: City Views

If you have the PC version you can actually view these files. They are stored as .mov files (although every player I've tried to play them with gives me an error). They have obvious filenames and there's only about 15 or so, so not every city has one (at least on PC).
