KEY Points About Roster

-OVERALL Rating means NOTHING in this Roster. Our goal is to make Players play like their Real Life Counterparts.

- The Roster will reflect OPENING Night Rosters. We will be releasing a ONCE a month Update to the Roster.

- The Rotations and Players Roles reflect EVERYONE being Healthy. Users can adjust as they see fit, if they want the Injuries Incorporated.

-Our team for the most part are Hardcore Association mode players and once you start an Association any updates means starting all over from the beginning and with the daily changes in the NBA that would mean you re-start your Association almost weekly. If you are an Association mode fan, we advise that our roster is greatly focused on that mode which is why updates will be monthly. We will also have those changes to the ratings on our association guide spreadsheets (available online) for references.

Happy day's are here again. First Phil Jackson returning to the Lakers and now our pet project is ready to be unleashed to the community.

HUGE ANNOUNCEMENT - I had an idea this morning and usually when I have an idea I talk myself into following through, so with that being said I have begun to change the Association Guide in order to be more user friendly. I am going to give each team their own spreadsheet that will include (contracts/salaries, opening day rosters, team depth chart, team rotations, coaching staff, future draft pick trading guide and finally a short up-to-date tutorial on each team with regards to player movement from opening night til the present date so users can use as a reference to make the correct moves).

Also, just wanted to say that I had gone over to the slider forum and after reading through a few of the most viewed 2K13 slider sets I bumped up the difficulty level to Hall of Fame and implemented JasonWilliams55 sliders set to the roster set. Not only did the game play out well, but the CPU did not go all GODLY on me and it was a competitive game. I had start an Association earlier this week and through 6 games I'm 6-0, but here are the stats from the game where I switched the slider set and difficulty. Might be something to think about, but I will be honest, until 2K puts out their patch that clearly fixes a lot of the things that are just unbearable to experience in the game I'm still feeling like there is something missing because at certain times during the game the feeling just seems off. Upon downloading this roster I realized there are two types of gamers that will be downloading it as well, ones that want the rotations as ACCURATE as possible, and ones that want the rotations as TALENTED as possible. The roster, by default is the latter. So I've looked at minute per game averages for every player on every team and balanced them against games played/started to make up some rotations for people who want simulation rotations and who just want to Quick Play with this roster and can't wait for the Association Ready one. I don't blame you.

Might be something to think about, but I will be honest, until 2K puts out their patch that clearly fixes a lot of the things that are just unbearable to experience in the game I'm still feeling like there is something missing because at certain times during the game the feeling just seems off. This is the one player movement over the first two weeks of the NBA season that users will have to make on their own following the Dallas/Lakers opening night game in Associations. The cutoff point for player movement was each teams opening night game, so Oklahoma City and Minnesota, two teams for example that were a few of the teams that didn't open up their season til the weekend, their player movement was extended til the date of their first game.

It wont have the New Coach in it. I WILL Update Lakers Coaching Profiles to reflect his Coaching Style though. I am working on the Free Agents as I type this. GOAL is to have everything ready(Roster, Draft Class, Sliders) ready by Sunday Night.

We have 231 Free Agents in the Roster, so the plan will be to Rate most of them 25 on the 1st Association Roster. Then with EACH Monthly Update i will have More Updated. I know some will be disappointed but Editing Close to 400 players on ALL 30 Teams Already and then 231 Free Agents and 80 Draft Prospects that NEED to be Be Edited is jut Too much right now. I am Ready to play and relax from Editing for a few days, once I get the Core Free Agents Edited. There will still be a Large Number of Free Agents Edited.

In summation, this was one of the greatest games I've ever played on any sports game. I won't tell you much else about the first three and a half quarters except I started off scoldering hot and slowed down at the end of the first. It was pretty back and forth after that. So onto the exciting part... 4th quarter came... 4th quarter went, under a minute left in regulation and the Warriors are down 7, Carl Landry is fouled on a hook shot. Makes both free throws. 5 point game. The Mavericks take it up court and after a good show of ball movement, Darren Collison is blocked by Festus Ezeli. Warriors take the ball up the court quick. Curry calls for a screen from Ezeli, who sets a good one giving Curry plenty of space. 2 point game.

The Mavericks bring the ball up court while almost getting an 8 second violation, Collison passes to rookie Crowder near the sideline, Crowder is doubled by Barnes and Lee. Instead of kicking it down to the open Kaman, he forces a pass to Collison, but it is poked by Harrison Barnes, the ball deflects off of Crowders FACE and soars out of bounds. Warriors ball. 2 point game. Curry hustles up court and finds an open Landry for a streaking dunk to tie the game. 10 seconds left. Dallas Timeout.

The Mavericks have rookie Jae Crowder inbounding the ball. The same player who had the turnover on the very last play. Crowder throws the ball into Mayo, but the pass is deflected!!! By who else? Harrison Barnes. The ball is poked into the Warriors side of the court. Klay Thompson recovers and dunks the ball in one fluid motion. 2 point Warrior lead. 6 seconds left. The Mavericks use their last time out. Dallas inbounds the ball to Darren Collison, who upon handing the ball of to Mayo on a fake screen, bobbles it and the ball is loose! Mayo recovers and throws up a prayer from 3 point range. Rattles out! Warriors win 104-102

The thing that made this game great is that the CPU were seemingly unstoppable near the end when they built their 7 point lead, and I was thinking about the 2K12 clutch factor and how it scripted the game for either side. But staying focus, switching up a defensive plan and playing forceful but not risky defense allowed me to turn a 7 point defecit into a 2 point lead within a minute. This project, the rosters, combined with the sliders, has really made this game feel authentic and really dependant on how players are supposed to play, great job on these. I'll be rolling with this roster for a long long while.

As you can see, the Rebounding numbers were off. As well as the User Steal numbers. These are two aspects still needing tweaks.

Also, points in the paint were high, but that is what happens when you have two teams, lacking in the paint. Mismatches on both sides in different aspects. Ex: Ezeli was manhandling Wright and Brand in the paint, yet the crafty Elton Brand and Chris Kaman found ways to score against Ezeli, Biedrins and Green all night. Also, both point guards are slashers of the highest degree. A lot of drives and kick over the shoulder to the big man/cutter.
