NBA 2k13: MSAA VS SSAA??

So I bought NBA 2k13 for my newly built PC, and I'm LOVING it. I can say that I am an officially converted PC gamer, and my 360 is currently gathering mounds of dust.

My question is about AA options. As I'm new to these tweaks, it's a process of trial and error to get things working smoothly. Currently I have in game vsync ON, and in game AA disabled. Instead I'm using my Catalyst control center to have SSAA 8x override the in game settings. I've also enabled triple buffering. The game plays beautifully, though it tends to stutter a bit during replays.

Can you smart folk enlighten me about the benefits/downfalls of using MSAA vs SSAA in this particular game? I want to get the game looking as good as possible, while not putting unnecessary work on my GPU.

My rig: 3570K / Sapphire 7850 / 16GB ram

Thank you in advance for your help!

I got the same Radeon as you do but as Gygabyte and CF.
For some reason i cant change any of them game settings at all, after i apply new changes then display goes smaller wonder why.
But if it helps, my Catalyst settings are
AA x4EQ
Supersampling
Mor. filtering off
Antriscopic filtering x16
Texture filtering high
Frame rate controll off
Tesselation use apllication settings

and it runs 60 smooth
