Passing!

I THINK EVERYTHING IN THIS YRS GAME IS BETTER THAN LAST YRS EXCEPT FOR THE PASSING- IM GETTING PISSED OFF WHEN I HAVE GUYS OPEN AND ITS DOUBLE AND TRIPLE PUMPING BEFORE IT GETS PASSED- IS THERE A SETTING IM MISSING? PLEASE HELP

Stop tapping pass button...

Double tapping the pass button is the control for fake pass. So if you spam it it will fake pass forever. Press it once.

lol there is one thing I absolutely hate about passing.. A player gets passed his defender leaving it:

passer-defender-player-basket...

Instead of simply lobbing it over the top of the defender to my cutting player the pass is thrown directly into the defenders chest.. Almost like I'm trying to pass through him, wtf lol...

yes! it's better in this game but it still happens and it drives me ape ****.... no its ok 2k I didn't want that wide open shot I was aiming for the numbers on the defenders jersey...

Yeah passing is just as bad as ever, they really didn't improve it at all, just like rebounding. The bounce pass is a nice touch but that's it. The actual passing logic is still pretty broken. And for those saying don't spam the pass button, that's true. But making it so double tapping the pass button quickly fakes a pass was a stupid idea, i don't know what they were thinking with that.

Why? Why would you spam the pass button anyway? It's a user error, not a control design issue. Developers aren't responsible for gamers's bad habbits.
