Kick-Off And Punt Return Masters

Who Are The Good Kick And Punt Return Specialists In HC09.
I Have See Devin Hester, Donnie Avery, And Darren Sproles Do Some Fantastic Returns. I Always Seem To Get Devin Hester Wether It Be Through Free Agency Or A Cheap Trade. I Have Seen Him Do Some Fantastic Returns Hurdling Players, Juking, Reverse Field, Etc. I Can Always Count On Him, But The Question Is Who Else Are The Best ?

Deshaun Jackson does pretty good, also had some pretty consistent success with Roscoe Parrish.

Re: Kick-Off And Punt Return Masters

I'm currently using Jamarion Bellows. He seems pretty good. However, I haven't returned anything for a TD yet.

How many return TDs do you normally see per season?

Re: Kick-Off And Punt Return Masters

Jamarrion Bellows returned two kickoffs for touchdowns for me his rookie season (we're currently in the playoffs, so i suppose there's room for one more). You can't trust the "return" rating. Bellows has a lower rating than Dominique Cromartie (also on my team) who never returns further than about the 25-30 yard line. I'm not sure how they calculate the "return" rating, but I always factor in BC vision, Juke Move, etc. in my return selections. I tend to favor WRs and especially HBs (if I can find a qualified one). I had Perry Montgomery (one of those game changer suddenly-appears-in-free-agency guys) as my return man in another franchise until I traded him, and he did quite well with his 99 trucking and such, despite his return rating being in the 70s.

Re: Kick-Off And Punt Return Masters

I Was In The English path And Had Donnie Avery (Sleeper,) Darren Sproles, And Devin Hester All With The Colts.
Hester Ran Back 6 Kickoffs
Avery 3 Kickoffs And 2 Punt Returns
Sproles 5 Punt Returns
This Was Using The Best Sliders And I Tell You They Really Sold me On This Game Because Visually It Was Like Watching A Real Game. I Don't Know How These Guys Created It But Hester Actually Hurdled A Guy, Spun, And Changed Field. Sproles Does Some Crazy Stuff Too Bouncing Off Of Tacklers.
I Don't Know If It Is Programmed To Do So But, I Had 3 games That Went Into Over-Time And After Winning The Coin Toss In Each, Hester Ran The Opening Kick-Off back Ending The Games.
I Just Want To know Who Else Has That Talent In This Game. The Only Other Player That I have had Run Multiple Punts Back Is WR-Kidd Who I Believe Was In The Sweetney Path.

Re: Kick-Off And Punt Return Masters

If you can believe it, I had 8 kickoff TDs with CB Deandre Miles the year I switched from Chicago to Seattle. My STC had all the special skills however.

You can never go wrong with Antwan Randle El. He was and is a beast in my Broncos career. He will get at least 3 or 4 returns for a TD a year. Best part is you are almost certain to find him in FA after year 1 if not before.

Re: Kick-Off And Punt Return Masters

if you really can't find a good returner amongst the players you've already got, you can go to free agent, scroll all the way to the right to return ability, and then sort by return ability. usually at least 2 or 3 people in the 90s in there, and because they generally are unremarkable otherwise, they're dirt cheap.
